Banana Batata is a bold banana hot sauce that brings fruity sweetness and lively heat together in one smooth bottle. Made by Australian Buffalo Sauce, it blends caramelized Queensland bananas with sweet potato, zesty orange juice, habanero and cayenne for a rich, tropical flavour with a medium to hot kick. It was also awarded 3rd place in the Unique Hot Sauce category at the Flavour Awards 2025.
Handcrafted in Australia, Banana Batata is perfect for wings, burgers, BBQ meats, tacos and loaded fries. Really nice subtle kick with a banana flavour on the back end even have it with breakfast lunch and dinner take it to the barbecue take it to the park it's another smack and good sauce from the legends of Australian Buffalo sauce company!
Tried the Banana Batata and honestly didn’t know what to expect — but wow, it’s so good. The flavour balance is spot on, unique without being overpowering, and super moreish.
Love supporting local brands doing something a bit different, and this one definitely delivered. Will be ordering again and can’t wait to try more from the range.
